ANZ Transactive - Cash Asia Minimum System Requirements

Print functionality must be enabled

Follow these steps to add ANZ Transactive to your trusted sites:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools and select Internet Options. In Internet Explorer 9.0 and above, the Tools button appears as a gear icon.
  3. Navigate to the Security tab
  4. Select and highlight Trusted sites
  5. Click the Sites button
  6. In the space provided type: https://*.anz.com and then click the Add button so that it appears in the list of Web sites
  7. Click OK or Close and then click OK again

You should now be able to print a report from within ANZ Transactive by clicking on the print icon from within any report screen.

When you print for the first time, you may get another pop-up. Click the Install button and the standard Windows Print Dialogue will then display.

Further troubleshooting

If you continue to receive errors when printing such as Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, then you may have your Trusted Zone settings set to Custom or Medium. To resolve this issue, follow the below steps - you only need to do this once, and you can easily revert back to your original settings once the initial print has been successful.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools and select Internet Options. In Internet Explorer 9.0 and above, the Tools button appears as a gear icon.
  3. Navigate to the Security tab
  4. Select and highlight Trusted Sites
  5. Click the Custom Level button
  6. Scroll through the list and under the option Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls select Enable
  7. Click OK and then click OK again, you should now be able to print a report

You can then revert back to your original trusted sites once you have printed successfully.

Revert back to your original trusted sites settings

  1. Open your Internet browser
  2. Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools and select Internet Options. In Internet Explorer 9.0 and above, the Tools button appears as a gear icon.
  3. Navigate to the Security tab
  4. Select and highlight Trusted Sites
  5. Click the Custom Level button
  6. Scroll through the list and under the option Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls select Disable
  7. Click OK and then click OK again

Pop-up blockers must be turned off

Pop-up blockers prevent new windows from automatically opening when you visit a website. This feature must be turned off or configured to allow pop-ups for the ANZ Transactive application.

This system checking tool checks whether your pop-up blocker is turned off.

Follow these steps to turn your pop-up blockers off in Internet Explorer version 7 and version 8:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools
  3. Select Pop-up Blocker and click Turn Off Pop-up Blocker.

Follow these steps to turn your pop-up blockers off in Internet Explorer version 7 and above - Alternative Procedure:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools and select Internet Options. In Internet Explorer 9.0 and above, the Tools button appears as a gear icon.
  3. Navigate to the Privacy tab
  4. Select or clear the Turn Off Pop-up Blocker checkbox, and then click OK

Important note: You may also have third party toolbars that may be blocking pop-ups. These are typically located under the main Internet Explorer address field. Please make sure that any toolbar pop-up blockers are turned off or configured to allow pop-ups from this site.

Follow these steps to allow ANZ Transactive to use pop-ups:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools and select Internet Options. In Internet Explorer 9.0 and above, the Tools button appears as a gear icon.
  3. Navigate to the Privacy tab
  4. If Block pop-up or Turn on Pop-up Blocker is checked, then click the Settings button
  5. In the space provided for Address of website to allow type: anz.com and then click the Add button so that it appears in the list of Allowed Sites
  6. Select Close and then OK

If you are using any additional pop-up blockers, then you will need to ensure ANZ Transactive is not blocked by these applications.

Cookies must be enabled

Each time you visit the ANZ Transactive site, your browser will send your ANZ Transactive cookie to the Bank’s server. The server uses this information for authentication purposes and will provide you with your organisations’ view of the application. For example, your organisations account information and transaction data.

This tool will check whether cookies are enabled.

Follow these steps to enable cookies:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools and select Internet Options. In Internet Explorer 9.0 and above, the Tools button appears as a gear icon.
  3. Navigate to the Privacy tab
  4. Click the Advanced button and a new window will appear
  5. Tick the Override automatic cookie handling checkbox
  6. For First-party cookies, click Accept
  7. Click OK and then click OK again

Follow these steps to make ANZ Transactive a Trusted Site – Alternative Procedure:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools and select Internet Options. In Internet Explorer 9.0 and above, the Tools button appears as a gear icon.
  3. Navigate to the Security tab
  4. Click the green tick Trusted Sites icon
  5. Click the Sites button and a new window will appear
  6. In the space provided for Add this website to the zone, type https://*.anz.com
  7. Un tick the Require server verification (https) for all sites in this zone checkbox located at the bottom of the window
  8. Click Add. Click OK and then click OK again

Browser type and version

ANZ Transactive is accessible via Internet Explorer (IE) 7 and above

At this time, browsers other than Internet Explorer are not supported and will cause problems when running ANZ Transactive.
If you do not have the recommended browser, please speak to your System Administrator or download and install IE from the official Microsoft website.

In all cases, 32 bit Internet Explorer versions should be used. On 64 bit systems, 32 IE is located under C:\Program Files (x86)\

Operating System

ANZ Transactive has been extensively tested and is supported by Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Secure Socket Layer must be enabled

Secure Socket Layer (SSL) is a protocol that provides encrypted communications over the internet and is used on ANZ Transactive web pages to protect sensitive information in transition. Your system must be able to access SSL in order to operate the ANZ Transactive application.

This tool will check your ability to access SSL pages.

Follow these steps to access SSL:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools and select Internet Options. In Internet Explorer 9.0 and above, the Tools button appears as a gear icon.
  3. Navigate to the Advanced tab
  4. Navigate down to the Security heading
  5. Tick the Use TLS 1.0, Use TLS 1.1 and Use TLS 1.2 check boxes are ticked within the Security heading
  6. Click OK and then click OK again

Smartcard software installed (not applicable for Tokens)

This tool will check that the security device drivers are installed and is only necessary if the User requires the use of a Smartcard.

This tool determines if the smartcard software has been successfully installed. If the check advises that it is Unable to detect, you must run the ActiveX enabled check (instructions below).

  1. If the result is Successful, refer to the security device drivers on the ANZ Transactive Getting Started CD
  2. If the result reports a Failure, rectify your ActiveX setting and run the test again

Latency

Running ANZ Transactive effectively requires sufficient bandwidth of a minimum of 256 kbps.

This tool measures the time it takes to download a block of data as insufficient bandwidth may hinder the running of ANZ Transactive.

This test is indicative only. Contact your Internet Service Provider for more information regarding your bandwidth.

Tracert

The tracert command is a Command Prompt command that's used to show several details about the path that a packet takes from the computer or device you're on to whatever destination you specify.

ActiveX enabled

ANZ Transactive requires ActiveX controls to be enabled to use Print and Smartcard functionality.

To safely enable ActiveX you will need to add ANZ Transactive to your trusted sites.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Navigate to the top of the screen and select Tools and select Internet Options. In Internet Explorer 9.0 and above, the Tools button appears as a gear icon.
  3. Navigate to the Security tab
  4. Select and highlight Trusted sites
  5. Click the Sites button
  6. In the space provided type: https://*.anz.com and click the Add button so that it appears in the list of Web sites
  7. Click OK or Close and then click OK again.

If you do have permission to add trusted sites please see your network administrator or IT department.
